Micronutrients consists of vitamins and minerals that are smaller in size and more numerous. This makes it a greater challenge to consume them all in our daily diet. We are fortunate that some of them are manufactured at certain levels already by our body. These are classified as non-essential. The essential are those that our bodies are unable to produce and requires us to obtain them from dietary sources.
